We are pleased to announce that the first two booklets of the Chess Palace activity book series have been published under the auspices of the Judit Polgár Chess Foundation. The series is designed to introduce children aged 4 to 6 to the fundamentals of chess through playful, age-appropriate activities.
Based on the educational methodology developed by international chess grandmaster Judit Polgár, the activity books support the development of children’s fine motor skills, as well as their logical and strategic thinking. The exercises include coloring, drawing, matching, connecting, and planning simple chess moves.
Set in the imaginative world of the Chess Palace, the booklets lead young learners into the mindset of chess while respecting the developmental characteristics of early childhood.
